CEO Update - May 2014

We have had lots of activity in Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania over the last month. There will also be some exciting opportunities to come out of these states in the very near future.
Over the next month I will be in Victoria and also attending both the New Zealand and Australian conferences, this will then be followed by a trip to Western Australia. We also have four business owners and leaders attending the New Zealand Conference being Candice Gillies, Warrick Hobart, Tim Packman and Phil Grant. During these 3 days they will attend the commercial sessions, visit two of the top NAI Harcourts offices and will also spend time with Mauro Keller Sarmiento, the Head of International Business at NAI Global.
Whilst business planning in Hamilton, New Zealand, they reported having their best month ever. They have also mentioned they are ahead in numbers compared to those of all their time with CBRE over the past 12 months. This is great to hear and see that we are competing and winning against some of the perceived best commercial businesses in the market. This just reinforces the massive opportunity we all have in front of us, we just have to grab it.
The figures for March where massive. NAI Harcourts New Zealand had the best month in history. It was also encouraging to see that in Australia, NAI Harcourts Australia had the best month ever in Settled Value. Well done to you all.
From the Tasmanian team, Claudine Church of the Launceston office wins  Commercial Property Manager of the Year at the Real Estate Institute of Australia awards in March. A massive achievement from the team in Tasmania and just fantastic to see that we have some outstanding determined people in our team.

NAI Global ranked among the Top Five Commercial Real Estate Brands in the Annual Lipsey Survey

NAI Global, the world’s largest, most powerful network of owner-operated commercial real estate firms, earned the top five spot in the 2014 Lipsey Survey of Top 25 Commercial Real Estate Brands. The survey was conducted among 100,000 commercial real estate professionals using a combination of ballot voting, phone interviews and focus groups to identify the top global brands. NAI Global is the only commercial real estate network represented in the top five. “As an organization, our strategic focus is to build the brand and drive growth for and with our member firms worldwide with a goal to provide excellent service to our clients. It is gratifying to see this reflected in the results of this year’s Lipsey survey,” said Jay Olshonsky, President, NAI Global. “Our success is built on the strength of our members, who are local market-leaders collectively achieving extraordinary results for their clients through the power of the NAI Global network.”
